Palermo, for its urban structure of Arabic influence, full of narrow streets and alleys, is suitable for walking tours. Piazza Politeama (Politeama Square) is the main square of Palermo, where the main city streets meet: Via Emerico Amari (the road that connects the square with the harbor of Palermo, 543m), Ruggero VII street, Dante st, Libertà Avenue. We proceed to Roger VII street, named ‘’the lounge of Palermo'', cross P.pe Belmonte street with its historic shops, and arrive in front of the largest Theatre of Europe: the Massimo Theatre.(exterior only)

Continuing along the alleys and streets of the Arab neighbourhoods, we arrive to the beautiful church of Saint Ignatius of Olivella*. Tour of the Church which is one of the most luxorious Baroque monuments of Palermo.
We proceed along Via Roma, the city's main road that connects the town horizontally from the central train station to the new area.

We then arrive to the Piazza San Domenico** (Saint Dominic Square), tour of the Church Saint Dominic.* We cross Piazza Meli (Meli Square), and continue towards the Church of St.Cita with the annexed Oratorio, true jewels of the Sicilian baroque and great beauty.

Short tour of the Vucciria, open air historic market, immortalized in the painting of the Sicilian painter and Master Renato Guttuso.

Lunch time: we are at 150m from home, cross Materassai street and other alleys, here we are at home on the second floor of an old Spanish building of the sixteenth century, we will enjoy a rich buffet of Sicilian delicacies of quality: ‘’panelle e crocchè’’, ‘’sfincione’’, ''anelletti al ragu'', octopus salad, ‘’caponata’’, with a good Sicilian wine or other beverage of your choice. We will conclude our ''typical'' brunch with zibibbo wine, sicilian almond biscuits and coffee mocha espresso.
In case of unavailability of the private home, the lunch will be made at the Antica Focacceria San Francesco.
After lunch you will be escorted to the Piazza San Domenico (Saint Dominic square).
End of services.
